The Crowing of the New Homecoming Queen

On Friday, September 29, 2017, Sylacauga High School celebrated their homecoming festivities against their biggest rival, the Childersburg Tigers. During pregame, all homecoming representatives were announced and escorted onto the field. The freshman attendants were Brooke Gordon, Autumn Waites, and CeCe Williams; the sophomore attendants were Keri Hayes, Kyla McKinney, and Taliyah Taylor; and the junior attendants were DeAsia Cook, Grier Marlowe, and Shantraille Swain. The homecoming court consisted of five senior girls - Summer Darby, Natalie Hodges, Tavaria Lauderdale, Jordan McKinney, and Kassidy Poore - who all had the chance to be crowned queen. The Sylacauga homecoming festivities wrapped up with the announcement of the new, 2017 homecoming queen, Jordan McKinney.
